NewsMobile investigated the viral image and found it to be AI-generated and digitally fabricated.
A Reverse Image Search, along with a detailed keyword scan, did not reveal any credible news reports, authentic photographs, or official social media posts supporting the claim. Neither Nitish Kumar nor Nishant Kumar has shared such an image on their verified social media accounts. Additionally, no reputable media organisation has reported any related development or event linked to the viral claim.
A closer visual examination of the image reveals several red flags commonly associated with AI-generated content. These include inconsistent lighting and shadow patterns, unnatural facial blending, distorted hand structures, disproportionate body alignment, and an unusually smooth, artificial-looking background. Such anomalies are typical indicators of AI-generated or digitally manipulated visuals.
To further verify its authenticity, NewsMobile analysed the image using the AI detection tool Hive Moderation, which flagged the image as AI-generated with a high probability score. This confirms that the viral photograph is not genuine.

Hence, the viral image claiming to show Nitish Kumar and his son Nishant Kumar in an emotional moment is digitally fabricated.
