A reverse image search of the viral picture, along with relevant keyword searches, found no credible news reports or authentic photographs matching the image. Neither Prime Minister Narendra Modi nor Sonam Wangchuk has shared such a photograph on their verified social media accounts. Likewise, no reputable media organisation has published or reported the image.
Given the significance of Wangchuk’s protest, any hospital visit by the Prime Minister would have received extensive national and international media coverage. However, no such reports exist.
