Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in India on Thursday, December 4, 2025, for a two-day visit — his first trip to the country in four years.
Several photos from Putin’s India visit went viral on social media. However, one particular image — showing President Putin, accompanied by PM Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, visiting the Ram Temple in Ayodhya — has gained significant attention.

An Instagram post by deepak_rajput_india01 has shared the image with a caption: Wow! PM Modi even made President Putin visit the Ram Temple.

NewsMobile checked the viral post and found the claims to be false.
Running the viral image through Google Lens, NewsMobile did not find any news report or government announcement over Putin’s Ayodhya visit. Even the official accounts of PM Modi, CM Yogi or the Ministry of External Affairs have not carried any updates or statements related to the viral photo.
To further verify Putin’s visit to Ayodhya, we checked the viral picture using the AI detection tools — Hive Moderation and Sightengine — which confirmed the visual to be artificially created by 99.9% and 92%, respectively.

Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming to show President Putin visiting Ram Temple in Ayodhya with PM Modi and CM Yogi, is artificially created.
