NM VERIFIED
NewsMobile investigated the viral image and found it to be AI-generated.
A reverse image search, along with a detailed keyword scan, did not return any credible news reports, authentic photographs or official social media posts corroborating the claim. Neither Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, nor the Congress party has shared such an image on their verified social media handles. Additionally, no reputable media outlet has reported any such hospital visit involving the individuals seen in the viral post.
A closer examination of the image reveals several inconsistencies typically associated with AI-generated visuals. These include irregular lighting and shadow directions, unnatural facial blending, distorted hand structures, disproportionate body alignment, and an overly smooth, artificial-looking background — all common indicators of manipulated or synthetic content.
To further verify its authenticity, NewsMobile analysed the image using AI-detection tools, including Sightengine and Hive Moderation. Both platforms flagged the image as AI-generated with a high probability score, confirming that the viral picture is not genuine.
The viral image claiming to show Sonia Gandhi hospitalised alongside Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi is fake. There is no credible evidence to support the claim, and multiple verification methods confirm that the image has been artificially generated.
