A video purportedly showing Union Home Minister Amit Shah speaking in the Lok Sabha has gone viral on social media. In the clip, he is allegedly heard saying that Pakistan is not a separate country but a part of “Akhand Bharat,” and that both Pakistan and Iran will collapse, leading to the emergence of “Akhand Bharat” and “Greater Israel.” The video is being widely shared as his reaction to recent geopolitical tensions involving Pakistan and the Middle East.

NewsMobile verified the claim and found that the video is a deepfake.
To verify the claim, the NewsMobile team conducted a keyword search to check if Amit Shah had made any such statement in Parliament. However, no credible news reports or official records were found supporting the claim.
Further investigation using keyframes from the viral clip led to the original source video uploaded on the official YouTube channel of Sansad TV, dated March 30, 2026. On reviewing the extended version of the viral video, it was found that the speech was part of a discussion under Rule 193 in the Lok Sabha, where the Home Minister was responding to a debate on eliminating left-wing extremism in the country.
Notably, the original video contains no such statements about Pakistan, Iran, or “Akhand Bharat” as heard in the viral clip. This confirms that the audio in the viral video has been tampered with and falsely overlaid onto the original footage.
Hence, it is evident that the viral video is manipulated, with fake audio superimposed to create a misleading narrative.
