NewsMobile investigated the viral video and found it to be AI-generated and digitally manipulated.
A reverse image search of multiple keyframes from the video, along with relevant keyword searches, found no credible evidence supporting the claim. NewsMobile could not find any verified video, official social media post or credible media report showing Salman Khan in the manner depicted in the viral clip.
Further, Salman Khan has not shared the video on his verified social media accounts.
A frame-by-frame analysis of the footage revealed several telltale signs of AI manipulation, including unnatural facial features, inaccurate lip-sync, distorted body movements, inconsistent proportions, and irregular lighting and shadows. The background also appears unusually smooth, lacking the depth, texture and visual consistency typically seen in authentic footage.
To further verify the claim, NewsMobile analysed the video using Hive Moderation, an AI detection tool. The tool flagged the footage as AI-generated with a high probability, providing additional evidence that the viral clip is digitally fabricated.
In conclusion, the viral video purportedly showing Salman Khan addressing his fans is AI-generated and digitally manipulated.
