A video purportedly showing a street vendor rolling flatbread on his bare torso has gone viral on social media, with many users claiming it depicts the poor hygiene standards of Indian street food vendors.

NewsMobile initiated its verification by closely examining the viral clip. The analysis revealed several visual inconsistencies, including unnatural hand movements, a rolling pin that briefly blurs and distorts, and unrealistic movement of the flatbread, common indicators of AI-generated content.
For further confirmation, the video was analysed using Hive Moderation’s AI detection tool, which identified it as AI-generated.
Therefore, the viral claim is misleading. The video is not authentic but was generated using AI.
