NM VERIFIED
NewsMobile verified the claim and found that the video is AI-generated.
The NM team initiated a keyword search to find any official update regarding the use of e-rickshaws for police patrolling in Uttar Pradesh. However, no credible reports or announcements supporting this claim were found. The absence of any such development raised suspicion about the authenticity of the viral post.
On closely examining the video, several discrepancies were observed. These included unnatural movements, such as the way the vehicle door opens, the manner in which the e-rickshaw is being driven, and the posture of the police personnel riding it. These inconsistencies indicated possible digital manipulation.
Further scrutiny revealed watermarks of ‘VEO’ and ‘Gemini’ in the bottom-right corner of the video, suggesting that it was created using AI tools. To verify this, keyframes from the viral clip were analysed using the AI detection tool Hive Moderation, which confirmed that the video is AI-generated.

Hence, the viral video is AI-generated.
