A video purportedly showing a monk walking along a roadside is being shared on social media with the claim that a speeding car was about to hit him when a cow suddenly appeared and took the impact, “saving” the monk. Users are linking the clip to Nandi Maharaj and suggesting that the cow miraculously intervened to protect the monk in a road accident.

NM VERIFIED
NewsMobile verified the claim and found that the image is AI-generated.
The NM team initiated its verification by conducting a keyword search to check whether any such incident had been reported by mainstream media. Given the dramatic nature of the claim and the severity of the alleged accident, such an event would have been expected to receive wide media coverage. However, no credible news reports or official confirmations of any such incident were found.
Upon closer examination of the video, several inconsistencies were observed. In one frame, the dust on the ground appears to produce an unnatural smoke-like effect. Additionally, despite the impact shown in the clip, the cow appears completely unharmed immediately after the collision, which is unusual for such a high-speed crash scenario. Another major inconsistency is the camera angle, as it is unclear who recorded the incident and from where, since it does not resemble footage from a CCTV system or any fixed surveillance setup.
For further verification, the viral video was analysed using an AI detection tool, which indicated that the footage is likely AI-generated.

These findings collectively suggest that the video is not a real incident but a digitally created or manipulated clip being falsely shared as a miraculous event.
