NM VERIFIED
NewsMobile verified the claim and found that the image is AI-generated.
A reverse image search, along with keyword-based analysis, did not return any credible results. No official government handle, verified social media account, or reputable media organisation has published or acknowledged such a photograph from President Putin’s visit.
A closer examination of the image reveals several red flags typically seen in AI-generated visuals. These include inconsistent lighting, unnatural facial blending, and overly smooth background textures — all strong indicators of synthetic manipulation.
To further verify the findings, NewsMobile analysed the image using AI-detection tools Hive Moderation and Sightengine. Both tools independently flagged the image as AI-generated, confirming that the viral picture is not authentic.
