Lalu’s son Tej Pratap messes up in oath-taking ceremony, Governor corrects

Date:

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tej Pratap Yadav faced a stumbling block in his entry to public life on Friday, as he misread the world “apekshit” (expected) as “upekshit” (insulted).

The Governor who was administering the oath, asked Tej to read his oath again.

Tej and his younger brother Tejaswi took oath as ministers in Nitish Kumar’s cabinet today. Throwing light into the new power equation, the duo took oath right after Nitish Kumar, while other party seniors followed next.

According to some reports, Tejaswi may be the Deputy Chief Minister.

Leader belonging to the anti-Narendra Modi front like Mamata Banerjee, Sitaram Yechury, Arvind Kejriwal, D. Raja were present on the occasion while Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi missed the perfect photo-opportunity due to a flight delay.
