Earlier, India bowled out for 631 runs on day four of the fourth cricket Test against England on Sunday, extending their lead to 231 runs.
Skipper Virat Kohli was batting on 235 and Jayant smashed his maiden century and shared a record 241-run stand with the Indian Captain.
