IPL 2022: Mumbai Indians To Clash With Sunrisers Hyderabad

Date:

Mumbai: Mumbai Indians take on Sunrisers Hyderabad to shatter their chances of qualifying in the playoffs of the ongoing Indian Premier League at the Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday.

Sunrisers Hyderabad is back after a crushing defeat of 54 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders in the last game. Kane Williamson and his side are placed at the eighth position on the points table after consecutive losses in the past few games.

SRH’s run to the playoffs is likely to come to an end without qualifying in the playoffs round. However, this season has helped the side develop a core team for the upcoming season. With players like Umran Malik, Abhishek Sharma, and T.Natarajan, the side looks more comfortable and balanced and will have a positive takeaway from this season of IPL.

Mumbai Indians will be back after knocking out the defending champions of the season, Chennai Super Kings. With the best figures of wins in the past few games, Mumbai Indians will be a slightly more comfortable side in the middle.

MI dropped out-of-form Kieron Pollard and the move helped them get a much-needed win in the last game. Hrithik Shokeen made an impact in the last game with a balanced inning in the lower batting order.

Daniel Sams bagged three wickets in the last game followed by Riley Meredith and Kumar Kartikeya who bagged two wickets each in their spell against CSK.
