Real Madrid and Real Betis registered convincing victories in the latest round of La Liga matches, strengthening their positions in the standings.

In another fixture, Real Betis thrashed Real Oviedo 3-0 in a one-sided contest. Cucho Hernández struck twice, while Abde Ezzalzouli added a goal before halftime as Betis controlled proceedings throughout.
Despite Madrid’s win, FC Barcelona continue to lead the table with 88 points from 34 matches. Real Madrid remain second with 77 points, followed by Villarreal CF (68) and Atlético Madrid (63).
Real Betis moved up to fifth with 53 points, boosting their hopes of European qualification, while Real Oviedo continue to struggle near the relegation zone.
With the season entering its final phase, the battle for European spots and survival remains tightly contested.
