The operations will be carried out by Air India Express along with Air India through a combination of regular and additional flights.
According to the airline group, both carriers will continue scheduled services to Jeddah and Muscat. A total of six flights will operate to and from Jeddah, while Air India Express will run 12 scheduled flights connecting Muscat.
Air India will operate one round-trip flight each from Delhi and Mumbai to Jeddah. Air India Express will also operate a return service between Hyderabad and Jeddah.
In addition, both airlines will run one non-scheduled round-trip flight each to Riyadh, departing from Mumbai and Kozhikode respectively.
Air India Express will also continue scheduled Muscat services with round-trip flights connecting Delhi, Kannur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram.
Beyond these operations, the airline group plans to run around 60 additional non-scheduled flights to and from the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, subject to slot availability and regulatory approvals.
The airline said all Air India flights to North America, Europe, Australia and other international destinations will continue to operate as scheduled. Passengers affected by temporarily suspended routes have been offered options to rebook without additional charges or request a full refund.
The Air India group added that it is exploring further opportunities to operate additional ad-hoc flights to maintain travel connectivity with West Asia.
