Amruta Fadnavis Files FIR Against Designer, Alleges Threat, Bribe Bid Of ₹1 Cr

Mumbai: Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has filed a complaint against a designer named Aniksha alleging she was threatened and offered a bribe of ₹1 crore.

According to reports, the designer allegedly offered to provide Amruta with information on some bookies who can help her earn money.

The Mumbai Police in a statement said that “A case was registered against a woman designer, Aniksha and her father after they allegedly tried to bribe ₹1 crore and threaten Amruta Fadnavis,”.

The police added that Aniksha and Amruta have known each other for over 16 months. Amruta lodged a complaint in Malabar Hill Police Station after receiving calls and messages on her phone.

The police booked Aniksha and her father under sections 120 (B) (conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8 and 12 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
