The triumphant trio secured their victory with an impressive combined score of 361, clinching the top spot in the event.
India’s remarkable success in shooting continues, as they have now earned their seventh gold medal at the event.

Earlier today, Indian golfer Aditi Ashok secured a silver medal in the women’s individual event. This historic victory marks her as the first Indian female golfer to achieve such a remarkable feat in the sport’s rich history at the event.
Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports of India, Anurag Thakur, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to congratulate Ashok for her historic win. He wrote, “Heartiest congratulations to@aditigolffor clinching 🥈in the Women’s Individual event at #AsianGames2022, finishing with a score of 17 under par!”

As of now, India is in fourth place in the medal standings at the 19th Asian Games, with a total of 38 medals, including 10 gold, 14 silver, and 14 bronze medals in India’s tally.
