Eravikulam National Park
Spread over 97 square Kms in the Kannan Devan hills, this national park is fascinating. Located at 7000 feet above sea level, it is loaded with environmental wonders and the endangered mountain goat of South India, the Nilgiri Tahr, is found here.
Anamudi, the highest peak south of Himalayas, is right in the middle of the national park. Animals found here include the Nilgiri Langur, leopard, tiger, Indian bison to name a few. Flora and fauna of various kind can also be seen here.

Thenmala
Also known as ‘honey hills’, it is a famous destination in Kerala. It spreads across acres of dense forest.

Neyyar
The Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the oldest national parks of the state. Species of different types are found here like the Asian Elephant, Tiger and Leopards. The Neyyar Dam within the sanctuary is a famous picnic spot and the river is a beautiful spread of blue waters.
Many rare medicinal herbs are found here which are used to create ayurvedic products.
Agasthyamalai Biosphere is now listed under the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Trekking is allowed but with permission from the Forest Department.

Periyar
Periyar is a famous tourist location. Its bountiful landscape and mountains form for some breath-taking sights.
The elephant and tiger Reserve, Periyar National Park is located in the midst of the Cardamom and Pandalam hills.


The man-made lake is another important landmark for visitors. Do not miss bamboo rafting for an unforgettable experience.

Rhodo Valley
The valley is famous for the rhododendron flower which grows in abundance in this high altitude locale. Called the ‘silent valley’ plateau, it is a mesmerising hilly abode. Trek across the various scenic trails to admire nature’s beauty.
