“Christopher Luxon’s Perspective On Indo-Pacific Is Valuable”: EAM Jaishankar

New Delhi: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar extended a warm welcome to New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon at the Raisina Dialogue 2025, commending his deep understanding of India and commitment to strengthening bilateral relations. Speaking at the inaugural session on Monday, Jaishankar emphasized Luxon’s valuable insights into the Indo-Pacific, particularly at a time when the global order is undergoing a major shift.

“He not only has considerable knowledge of India but a real commitment to advancing our ties. His perspective on the Indo-Pacific is valuable at a time when the world is debating the nature of the global order,” Jaishankar remarked.

Jaishankar acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision in driving the event. Highlighting the importance of adaptive strategies in a rapidly evolving geopolitical landscape, Jaishankar called for bold leadership, transparent discussions, and innovative solutions.

Luxon’s participation in the dialogue underscores New Zealand’s growing engagement with India and the broader Indo-Pacific region. The Raisina Dialogue, India’s premier geopolitical and strategic affairs forum, has emerged as a key platform for global leaders to discuss pressing international issues.
