New Delhi: Veteran Congress leader and former defence minister AK Antony’s son Anil Antony on Thursday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Anil Antony joined the BJP in presence of Union Minister Piyush Goyal and V Muraleedharan. Antony after joining BJP said that “Today, several Congress workers and leaders believe it is their ‘dharma’ to work for a family. My ‘dharma’ is to work for the country”.
According to reports, Anil Antony was the digital media convenor at the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee. He also held the position of national coordinator of the All India Congress Committee (AICC).
Anil left the grand old part amid the row over the BBC Documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
