Gurugram, Haryana has declared a complete shutdown except for essential services from March 22 till March 31, 2020.
This was issued via an order of the District Magistrate, Gurugram. Earlier, states like Rajasthan have also declared a complete lockdown till March 31, owing to the spread of coronavirus.

In a televised national address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for a pan country Janata Curfew on march 22, to enhance social distancing and curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
Gurugram order was issued for precautionary suspension of activities and mass gatherings, except necessary civic amenities till 31st March, 2020. Non-adherence to the orders will be enforceable to action under I.P.C. 188. All schools, restaurants, malls, public gatherings and activities remain shut till March 31.

The statement also said that they are prepared to deal with the crisis and are grateful to the people of Gurugram who have been actively helping them do so. There is no shortage of necessary items, hence stocking was not required.
