New Delhi: A school teacher flung a class 5 girl from the first floor of the school building on Friday in Delhi’s Karol Bagh after attacking her with a pair of scissors, according to Delhi police.
The teacher, Geeta Rani has been detained and a case is being registered under IPC Section 307, on the eyewitness’s statement.
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) informed that teacher Geeta Rani has been suspended MCD will bear all expenditure on the medical treatment of the student.
The injured girl was immediately rushed to Bara Hindu Rao hospital where she is out of danger.
According to the police reports, the teacher first hit the girl student with small paper-cutting scissors and then threw the child from the first-floor classroom.
“I was hit with a pair of scissors and she (teacher) pulled my hair and then threw me from the school’s first floor. I did not do anything wrong,” said the victim student in her statements.
