Time magazine has named President-elect Donald Trump as its Person of the Year for 2024, marking his second time receiving the honor.
He was previously recognized in 2016. Last year, the title went to pop icon Taylor Swift for 2023.

The announcement, made on Thursday, celebrates Trump’s remarkable political comeback, which Time described as “unparalleled in American history.”
His victory over Vice President Kamala Harris was seen as one of the most significant in U.S. history. Trump is the first president since Grover Cleveland to return to office after losing a previous election.
At 78, Trump also became the first Republican in 20 years to win the popular vote, leading his party to control both the Senate and the House of Representatives.
TIME has a long-standing tradition of selecting individuals or groups who “have done the most to shape the world, for better or worse.” While some presidents-elect have been chosen for this title, it is not guaranteed.
