India and Denmark have significantly boosted their partnership in recent years, particularly in green energy, sustainable development, and innovation. The latest meeting reaffirmed both nations’ commitment to enhancing economic and industrial collaboration.
Earlier in the day, Jaishankar also held talks with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. The conversation focused heavily on regional and global security challenges, with a strong emphasis on counterterrorism efforts.
Jaishankar reiterated India’s firm stance against terrorism, calling for a collective and unwavering approach to eliminate the threat globally. “Terrorism must be condemned in all its forms and manifestations,” he emphasized during the meeting.
The back-to-back diplomatic engagements come as part of Jaishankar’s official tour to the Netherlands, Denmark, and Germany from May 19 to 24. The visit aims to reinforce India’s strategic partnerships in Europe and discuss key global issues, including trade, technology, climate action, and security cooperation.
