External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday during his official visit to Italy, where he is participating in the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Outreach Session. The two leaders held discussions on global issues and the strengthening India-US strategic partnership.
Following the meeting, Jaishankar took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his satisfaction, writing, “Always good to meet Secretary Antony Blinken, this time in Fiuggi, Italy. Discussed the state of the world and India-US partnership, which continues to move forward.”

During the visit, Jaishankar has engaged in several high-level meetings. On Monday, he held talks with his counterparts from the UK, France, and Ukraine, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation across diverse sectors and addressing key regional and international developments.
