Reuters has reported that the notice sent by the European Commission seeks to enquire into Google’s collection of data pertaining to local search services, online advertising, online advertisement targeting services, log in services, web browsers etc.

In recent times, the European Competition Commission has handed out fines worth 8 Billion Euros to the information technology giant.
