Batting first, the West Indies amassed a total of 181 for 6 after skipper Carlos Braithwaite had won the toss and had elected to bat first.
Openers Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer got their side off to a good start, scoring 24 and 26 respectively.
Nicholas Pooran and veteran Darren Bravo put up a partnership of 87 runs to take the Windies to a very competitive total of 181 for 3 in 20 overs. Yuzvendra Chahal was India’s pick of the bowlers but his figures of 2/28 in four overs saw Bravo and Pooran hit him for big sixes towards the end.

Dhawan was adjudged the Man of the Match, while Kuldeep Yadav was handed the Man of the Series accolade.
