Washington: Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin collapsed on-field during the match between the Bills and the Bengals on Monday.
According to reports, Damar Hamlin was rushed to the Cincinnati Hospital after he collapsed during the match. The injury took place after Hamlin tackled wide receiver, Tee Higgins. He got up and collapsed afterward.
The National Football League (NFL) in a statement said that “Hamlin received immediate medical attention on the field by the team and independent medical staff and local paramedics.”
The statement further added that “Our thoughts are with Damar and the Buffalo Bills. We will provide more information as it becomes available. The NFL has been in constant communication with the NFL Players Association which is in agreement with postponing the game.”
According to an ESPN report quoting Ira Turner, Damar’s manager who said “Please continue to pray for Damar and his family. We currently have no update at this time.”

While the paramedics carried out treatment on Damar, players from both the team gathered around, with many praying for his health and safety
