The countdown to the 94th Academy Awards has begun!
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak, the awards event has been postponed for the second time from its scheduled late February/early March slot to late dates in March.
The Oscar Awards will be staged in Los Angeles, this week, on March 28. Wanda Sykes and Amy Schumer, as well as actress Regina Hall, will host the Oscars this year.
The nominees were announced back in the early February. The Best Picture nominees are The Power of the Dog, Belfast, CODA, Don’t Look Up, Drive My Car, Dune, King Richard, Licorice Pizza, Nightmare Alley, and West Side Story. With a total of 12 nominations, including a Best Picture nomination, The Power of the Dog is leading the pack.

On March 27, the Academy Awards will begin at 8 p.m. ET.
