Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strongly condemned the attack on a Hindu temple in Canada. PM Modi emphasized that such acts of violence would not weaken India’s resolve and called on the Canadian government to ensure justice and uphold the rule of law.
The Prime Minister’s statement comes in the wake of a violent incident at the Hindu Sabha Temple in Brampton, where an Indian consular camp was disrupted.
Taking to X (Formerly Twitter) PM Modi wrote, “I strongly condemn the deliberate attack on a Hindu temple in Canada. Equally appalling are the cowardly attempts to intimidate our diplomats. Such acts of violence will never weaken India’s resolve. We expect the Canadian government to ensure justice and uphold the rule of law.”

Earlier, the Ministry of External Affairs in a statement also condemned attack on the hindu temple.“We condemn the acts of violence perpetrated by extremists and separatists at the Hindu Sabha Temple in Brampton, Ontario yesterday,” the statement read
The External Affairs Ministry also called on the Canadian government to ensure the protection of all places of worship from such attacks and emphasized the expectation that those responsible for the violence will be prosecuted.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has condemned the attack on the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton, which was carried out by Khalistani extremists. He emphasized the importance of religious freedom, stating that every Canadian should have the right to practice their faith freely and safely.
