Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held a high-level interaction with a visiting US delegation of thinkers and business leaders led by Walter Russell Mead, a distinguished fellow at the American think tank Hudson Institute.
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between India and the United States in areas ranging from business collaboration to global strategic interests.
Following the discussion, PM Modi expressed appreciation for the delegation’s engagement, emphasizing the importance of their contributions in strengthening India-US ties and advancing shared goals of global peace, progress, and prosperity.

Meanwhile, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal highlighted the ongoing dialogue between the two nations regarding a proposed Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA). Speaking to the media, Goyal noted that discussions are underway at multiple levels, with the possibility of the agreement taking shape in the near future, potentially boosting trade and investment flows between India and the United States.
