Priyanka Gandhi Secures Historic Victory In Wayanad By-Election

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has made history in the Wayanad by-election, winning with an unprecedented margin of over 6 lakh votes. Her victory not only secures the seat previously held by her brother Rahul Gandhi but also sets a new benchmark, surpassing his 2024 record of a 3.65 lakh vote margin in the same constituency.

This resounding win underscores Congress’s continued dominance in Wayanad. Meanwhile, in Palakkad, Congress candidate Rahul Mamkootathil emerged victorious, defeating BJP’s C. Krishnakumar by a margin of 18,840 votes.
