Robert Vadra, businessman and husband of Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi, on Sunday said that he would campaign for the Congress party all over India in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Robert said he will also be present with his mother-in-law Sonia Gandhi and brother-in-law Rahul Gandhi during their filing of nominations.
When asked if he will campaign for Congress party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, he replied, “Yes. All over India, after the filing of nominations (by Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi).”

Presently, Vadra is facing allegations of money laundering in the purchase of a London-based property.
While taking a swipe at Robert Vadra’s decision to campaign for Congress, Union Minister Smriti Irani said, “I want to say this much, that wherever Robert Vadra goes to campaign, the public should be alert and save their land.”

The mother-son duo will file their nomination from Rae Bareli and Amethi on April 11 and April 10, respectively.
The polls in Amethi and Rae Bareli will be held in the fifth phase of poll on May 6. Results for all the Lok Sabha seats will be announced on May 23.
