Ajmer: After months of Kathua rape case, another horrific incident came to light, a seven-year-old has been allegedly raped by a priest inside a temple on the Kalyanipura Hills on the outskirts of Ajmer, in Rajasthan.

The girl, on Wednesday, was roaming around the temple for grazing her animals and gathering the livestock. The 48-year-old, identified as Swami Shivanand alias Balwant, tricked her into the temple and then raped the minor. After that he left her unconscious in the room. The girl’s father came looking for her and found her lying unconscious on the floor.

After that the police registered complained against the accused under the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offence).
