Three Philadelphia Cops Injured In Wynnefield Shooting Suspect Dead

Philadelphia: Three Philadelphia police officers were injured in a shooting incident that took place in the city’s Wynnefield neighborhood on Saturday night.

The incident occurred at around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of 54th and Arlington streets. Emergency responders rushed the wounded officers to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for treatment.

All three officers are in stable condition.

The suspected gunman was later declared dead at Jefferson Hospital. Authorities also recovered a weapon in connection with the incident.

Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances that led to the shooting. Officials have not yet released further details regarding the events surrounding the incident.

The case remains under active investigation as authorities work to determine exactly what happened.
