Former US President Donald Trump launched a series of personal attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris during a rally in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Speaking to his supporters in the small town along the Mississippi River, Trump harshly criticized Harris’s recent visit to the southern border and questioned her intelligence, calling her “mentally disabled.”
According to a reports, Trump accused Harris of failing to address the challenges posed by illegal immigration, tying her directly to the Biden administration’s border policies.
“Joe Biden became mentally impaired; Kamala was born that way,” Trump said during his speech, adding, “Only a mentally disabled person could have allowed this to happen to our country.” His comments were directed at Harris’s pledge during her visit to Douglas, Arizona, where she advocated for stricter penalties for illegal border crossings and promised to crack down on asylum seekers.
Trump suggested that Harris’s recent actions were driven by falling poll numbers rather than genuine concern for the border situation. Surrounded by posters of undocumented immigrants charged with violent crimes, Trump laid the blame for illegal immigration at her feet, calling her “a disaster” who is unwilling to take meaningful action to address the issue.
Earlier, both Trump and Harris, squared off during the first Presidential Debate in Philadelphia, where Trump blasted the Biden-Harris administration for failing to control inflation. He claimed that inflation was at an all-time high, saying, “Inflation is at 21 percent, and other things are 50, 60, 70, 80 percent higher than they were just a few years ago.”
