Ukraine carried out its largest drone strike on Moscow since the start of the war, deploying at least 34 drones over the Russian capital early Sunday. The attack forced flights to be diverted from three of Moscow’s primary airports—Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo, and Zhukovsky—and left one person injured in the surrounding region, according to Russian officials.
The Russian defense ministry stated that another 36 drones launched by Ukraine were intercepted over Western Russia within a span of three hours. Flight operations at the affected Moscow airports resumed after a temporary halt, though 36 flights were initially diverted as a precautionary measure, confirmed Russia’s federal air transport agency.
