New Delhi: US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan met with his Indian counterpart, NSA Ajit Doval, in New Delhi on Monday. The high-level meeting focused on discussing bilateral issues and reviewing the India-US partnership on regional and global matters of mutual interest.
The discussions also included the first annual review of the Initiative on Critical and Emerging Technologies (iCET), with an inter-departmental delegation from both countries in attendance. This initiative aims to deepen cooperation in key technological areas, enhancing both nations’ strategic capabilities and innovation.
Before Doval, Sullivan met with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and held a discussion on a broad range of bilateral, regional and global issues.

Both NSAs are scheduled to address participants at an India-US iCET Roundtable on Tuesday with industry CEOs, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry. This roundtable will provide a platform for leaders from both nations to engage with industry experts, fostering collaboration and exploring new opportunities for technological advancement.
The meetings and engagements are expected to bolster the strategic partnership between India and the US, aligning their efforts in addressing shared challenges and advancing mutual interests in the global arena.
