The United States is gearing up to host the fourth in-person meeting of the Quad on September 21, as announced by the White House. US President Joe Biden will welcome the leaders of India, Australia, and Japan to Wilmington, Delaware.
The White House in a statement said, “The President looks forward to welcoming Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of Australia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India, and Prime Minister Kishida Fumio of Japan.”

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will already be in the US to attend United Nations meetings. PM Modi’s visit is scheduled from September 20 to 25, coinciding with the Quad summit.
The White House outlined the agenda for the Quad Leaders Summit, which aims to strengthen strategic alignment between the four nations while advancing a shared vision of a free and open Indo-Pacific. Key topics for discussion will include health security, disaster response, maritime security, infrastructure development, critical technologies, climate change, clean energy, and cybersecurity.
The Quad, consisting of the US, India, Australia, and Japan, will focus on enhancing strategic cooperation and addressing challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
