US: Two Indian Students Found Dead In Connecticut; Migrated Just Two Weeks Ago

Connecticut: Tragedy struck as two young students, G Dinesh (22) from Wanaparthy, Telangana, and Nikesh (21) from Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, were found dead in their Connecticut residence in the US.

Family members are grappling with the mystery surrounding their untimely demise. The circumstances leading up to this tragic incident remain unclear.

Dinesh embarked on his journey for higher studies in Hartford, Connecticut, on December 28, 2023, followed by Nikesh a few days later, as per newswire PTI.

Dinesh’s family sought assistance from Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to repatriate Dinesh’s body. Wanaparthy MLA Megha Reddy also joined efforts to bring back the deceased student, offering support and condolences to the grieving family.

The MLA also engaged with the Telangana Chief Minister to facilitate the return of the student’s remains. The Chief Minister responded affirmatively, assuring that necessary arrangements would be made to bring Dinesh’s body back to his hometown.

Meanwhile, Srikakulam Police Special Branch DSP K Balaraju mentioned that the district collector had not received information about Nikesh or his family.
