Trump also mentioned that he and Netanyahu discussed plans to eliminate Hamas and restore peace to the region.
Trump criticized his predecessor, Joe Biden, for failing to take action on the Middle East and claimed that Egypt and Jordan would eventually accept Palestinians from Gaza, despite their objections.
This press conference marked Trump’s first meeting with a foreign leader at the White House since resuming office.
