What Did Donald Trump Tell Taylor Swift Post The Super Bowl?

Date:

It was a good, happy night for President Donald Trump after fans in New Orleans appeared to cheer him in the stadium while booing Taylor Swift.

Trump and Swift attended Sunday’s Super Bowl LIX game, in which the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 to win the ultimate trophy.

President Trump posted a series of videos on the social media platform Truth Social, showing clips of fan reactions to both him and the pop megastar Taylor Swift.

He reposted from an account called Libs of TikTok, which showed clips of fan reactions to both him and the pop megastar.

“Trump gets massive cheers at the Super Bowl while Taylor Swift gets booed – The world is healing,” the account wrote.

Later, the President wrote, ” The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”

When both Trump and Swift appeared on the jumbotron in Caesar’s Superdome, the crowd responded differently to both. Taylor Swift was seen uncomfortable and stunned when she was booed by pro-Eagle fans. In contrast, the sections of the crowd appeared to break into cheers when the president was shown.

Trump Vs Swift
The two have a complicated past, sharing different political opinions and ideologies.

2018 Swift raised her voice and supported Democratic senatorial candidate Phil Bredesen over Republican candidate Blackburn.

A few days later, Trump was asked at the White House about her endorsement by reporters. “I’m sure Taylor Swift doesn’t know anything about [Blackburn],” Trump said, adding, “I like Taylor’s music about 25% less now, OK?”

In 2019, Swift, in an interview, spoke about the Trump Administration by the publication; she said: “We’re a democracy—at least, we’re supposed to be—where you’re allowed to disagree, dissent, debate. I really think that he thinks this is an autocracy.”

In October 2020, Swift officially supported President Joe Biden over Trump in the election campaign. In a fall 2020 issue of V Magazine, Swift told the outlet that “the change we need most is to elect a President who recognizes that people of color deserve to feel safe and represented, that women deserve the right to choose what happens to their bodies, and that the LGBTQIA+ community deserves to be acknowledged and included.”

In September 2024, soon after Trump’s presidential debate with Kamala Harris had ended, Swift took to social media and officially endorsed the former vice president.

“Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight,” Swift wrote in an Instagram post on Sept. 10 to her over 200 million followers. “I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.”

Let us remind you that Swift supported Harris during her vice presidential debate in October 2020.

When the issue came out, Swift shared the interview on social media, joking that it was “so apt that it [came] out on the night of the VP debate.” The singer added that she would be “watching and supporting” then-Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris “by yelling at the TV a lot.”
