WhatsApp goes ‘black’; here’s how to enable the dark mode

In a significant update, messaging app WhatsApp finally rolled out its much-awaited ‘Dark Mode’.

Facebook-owned WhatsApp on Wednesday rolled out the update after which users across the globe can use the new dark mode feature on their Android and iOS smartphones.

How to enable WhatsApp dark mode

The WhatsApp needs to be updated to the latest version on Google Play Store and iOS App Store. Once this is done, users can turn on dark mode by going to WhatsApp Settings > Chats > Theme > Dark.

Meanwhile, Android 10 and iOS 13 users can use dark mode by enabling it in system settings.
