Social media platform, X (formerly Twitter) suffered outages for users across the globe, including India. Several users reported that they are facing issues while accessing the platform on the app as well as web.
According to Downdetector.com, an outage tracking website, over 30,000 reports were registered globally during the incident. In India, Downdetector.in also recorded thousands of reports, indicating the extent of the disruption.
Many users in India were unable to load new posts or refresh their feeds. A large majority of issues seemed to stem from the app.
While the exact reason of the outage is not known,users said that they were unable to access the platform with the screen showing a message that says ‘Somethingwent wrong. Try again’. There has not been an official statement from X on this yet.
