In a remarkable feat that has astonished educators and experts alike, 10-year-old Krish Arora from Hounslow, West London, has achieved an IQ of 162, surpassing the legendary scores associated with Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking. This extraordinary achievement places Krish in the top 1% of the most intelligent people worldwide and has secured him membership in Mensa, the prestigious high-IQ society.
Krish’s exceptional intellect has also opened the doors to one of the UK’s leading grammar schools, Queen Elizabeth’s School, where he will begin his studies in September. For Krish, the move marks an opportunity to finally engage with a more rigorous academic environment. “Primary school is boring, I don’t learn anything. All we do is multiplication and write sentences all day. I like to do algebra,” he shared.
Krish’s brilliance isn’t confined to academics. A piano virtuoso, he has already earned a Grade 7 certification and a spot in Trinity College of Music’s prestigious “Hall of Fame” for completing four grades in just six months. His talent for playing complex compositions by memory, without sheet music, has earned him widespread acclaim.
The young prodigy has triumphed in several musical competitions across West London, often outshining competitors significantly older than him. His parents, Mauli and Nischal Arora, both engineers, recall noticing Krish’s exceptional abilities when he was just four years old.
