Actor Aamir Khan is reportedly preparing to marry his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, in a private ceremony scheduled for July 5.
Who’s Gauri Spratt?
Gauri Spratt, who is originally from Bengaluru, currently runs a BBlunt salon in Mumbai and is associated with Aamir Khan’s production house. She studied at Blue Mountain School and later completed an FDA Styling & Photography course at the University of the Arts London in 2004. Reports also state that she is the mother of a seven-year-old child.
Aamir publicly introduced Gauri to the media during his 60th birthday celebrations last year. Before making the relationship public, reports had suggested that the actor was dating someone outside the film industry.
The wedding news has also drawn attention to Aamir’s previous marriages. The actor first married his childhood sweetheart, Reena Dutta, in 1986. The couple have two children, Junaid and Ira, and ended their marriage in 2002 after 16 years together. Aamir later married filmmaker Kiran Rao, and the two announced their separation after years of marriage.
The reported wedding on July 5 is expected to be a private affair attended by close family members and associates.
