Paris: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a dramatic appearance at L’Oréal Paris’ Le Défilé 2026 during Paris Fashion Week on September 28, walking the runway in a glittering black gown, crystal-studded cape and a jeweled crown.
The actor wore a custom creation by Yara Shoemaker, featuring a fitted black velvet gown with a sculpted bodice and floor-length silhouette.
A galaxy-inspired cape covered in crystals added movement and a starry effect as she walked.
Aishwarya’s deep burgundy-red hair, styled in long, loose waves, marked a striking change from her usual look.
She completed the appearance with defined eyes, rouged cheeks and a bold red lip, while diamond jewellery and pumps added to the ensemble.
The actor shared the runway with fellow L’Oréal Paris ambassadors and celebrities including Kendall Jenner, Eva Longoria, Celine Dion, Simone Ashley, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda, Cara Delevingne and Andie MacDowell.
Ahead of the show, Aishwarya was seen interacting with Simone Ashley and reuniting with Eva Longoria backstage.
She had earlier arrived in Paris in a black overcoat after being photographed at Mumbai airport in a beige trench coat.
The Paris appearance follows Aishwarya’s recent Cannes outings and continues her long association with international fashion events, dating back to her 2002 Cannes debut with Devdas.
