In a striking blend of technology and design, Apple has teamed up with Japanese fashion label ISSEY MIYAKE to launch a unique accessory called the iPhone Pocket. Priced from ₹13,000, this innovative product redefines how we carry our devices, merging everyday practicality with high fashion.
The iPhone Pocket is crafted using 3D-knitting technology, forming a flexible textile that expands to hold an iPhone and other small essentials like AirPods or keys. Its ribbed, semi-transparent weave subtly reveals the contents when stretched, while keeping them secure when at rest.
Available in multiple colours and two strap sizes, the accessory can be worn across the body or carried by hand, reflecting both comfort and elegance. Apple describes it as a “modern interpretation of the pocket,” designed to complement the sleek design of the iPhone and individual style preferences.
Developed in Japan by ISSEY MIYAKE’s design team in collaboration with Apple’s Design Studio, the iPhone Pocket pays homage to the brand’s signature pleats while integrating Apple’s minimalist design ethos. The result is a fashion-meets-function innovation for those who like their tech to look as refined as it performs.
