India maintains their unbeaten run in the Asian Champions Trophy. India defeated Pakistan 2-1 in their final group-stage fixture at the Moqi Hockey Training Base in Hulunbuir, China.
Eight minutes into the game, Pakistan’s Ahmad Nadeem had put his country in the lead. But Harmanpreet Singh had other plans in mind. Harmanpreet turned the game on its head with two penalty corner goals in the first-half. Though Pakistan fought for an equaliser, it failed.
India ended the league stage leading the points table. India, Pakistan and Korea have qualified for the semi-finals, with Malaysia and China in contention to grab the final spot.
