AptEner Mechatronics, a Bengaluru-based startup, raised Rs 10 crore in a Series A round led by Inventus India and KITVEN.
A two-year-old company, AptEner Mechatronics creates BluArmor range of smart multi-functional motorcycle gear that aims to provide 4-wheeler like comfort and safety to 2-wheeler riders.
“We have a slew of feature-rich products in the pipeline and this capital will enable us to rapidly bring them to market, expand quickly and strategically,” PK Sundararajan, Chief Executive Officer and Founder at BluArmor told the Economic Times.

The company has also launched the ‘BluRydr’ travel companion app that auto-creates shareable travel stories. Using the route you take, the places you stop, and the pics and videos tagged to those places, BluRydr creates a travelogue that you can easily share with your friends.
BluSnap, the first product of BluArmor, is a snap-on cooler that retro-fits to existing full-face motorcycle helmets and cools air by up to 15 degrees. BluSnap is selling it in over 10 countries.
